Official numbers of students

As at September 2014
  • 39,074 students were enrolled in UTS in 2014: 34,651 students in City campus, 3323 students in Kuring-gai campus and 1100 students were enrolled in off-shore partner institutions.
  • The two largest faculties in 2013 were Business and Engineering and Information Technology.
  • In 2014, UTS had more than 26,500 students enrolled in its undergraduate, enabling and non-award courses, with an additional 10,896 students enrolled in postgraduate coursework courses and 1583 research students.
  • In 2014, approximately 10,730 international students were enrolled in UTS on-shore and off-shore courses.

The numbers include students who are enrolled on a full-time or part-time basis. 
The number of students in the equivalent full-time student load (EFTSL) is lower than the total enrolments because it counts students in terms of a full-time equivalent course load.
