The Business Intelligence Portal provides management information to UTS decision makers. UTS measures its achievement of strategic goals and benchmarks its performance against other Australian universities.
The UTS Business Intelligence Portal presents information in 'multidimensional PowerPlay cubes' for exploration of:
- student demand for undergraduate courses through the UAC
- student enrolment, load, diversity, equity, retention and performance
- student exam success and retention outcomes by UTS Faculty and course
- Fee income and HECS income
- Student Feedback Survey results by course and subject
- Graduate Destination Survey and Course Experience Questionnaire results nationwide by university
- Course Performance Report presented in Digital Dashboard format (implemented from 2006)
- research performance for UTS Faculties and nation-wide by university
- staffing levels, for UTS Faculties and divisions and nationwide by university
- UTS data used in DEEWR Learning and Teaching Performance Fund, and
- Reports for UTS KPIs supported by the BI Portal.
