Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS)

The Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS) has been administered to all coursework students since 1994 and annually since 2005.  Information from the survey is used for the production of two Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Thanks to everyone who took part in the SSS in 2011. We received over 4,000 responses.

2011 SSS results are now available.

"Student feedback surveys help you to determine if the way the subject being implemented is helping you or not. I take it seriously especially when it comes to criticism. It would be interesting to see the results of the survey."

Survey questions

The Student Satisfaction Survey consists of 90 multiple-choice core items spread across 6 sections:
  • A: UTS Student Administration
  • B: UTS Support Services
  • C: Learning Environment
  • D: Academic Learning Support
  • E: Social Activities
  • F: Students' Association

In 2011 a new section was introduced, covering current topical issues. In the first instance 8 items relating to the UTS City Campus Master Plan were included.
