The UTS Image Survey is administered every second March to UTS commencing undergraduate students, at point of entry. The purpose of the survey is to investigate the perceptions of students commencing undergraduate studies at UTS.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the UTS Image Survey in 2014. We received almost 1,600 responses.

"I think student feedback surveys are good because they collect legitimate and authentic feedbacks on the subject. Also, online surveys are better than paper surveys because student can do them at their leisure time."

Survey questions

The questions of the UTS Image Survey seek to determine:

  • What aspects of the university experience are important?
  • What are their expectations of UTS and other universities in relation to these?
  • What images do students have of UTS and other universities?
  • What are the influences informing their university choices?

In 2014 you told us that these images typify UTS's core strengths in the market:

  • Flexible
  • Friendly
  • Fun
  • Innovative
  • International Focus
  • Practical
  • Progressive
  • Relevant
  • Workplace Focused
